We promote the community ‘voice’ in health research.

St John WA Urgent Care Centre Community Conversation (Cockburn)

Ref: CUR10011

Date: 10 March 2020 @ 05:30 PM - 07:30 PM

Venue: Cockburn Health & Community Facility

St John WA is participating in a federal government pilot study to evaluate the Urgent Care Centre model.

Urgent Care Centres provide immediate medical care for non-life threatening injuries or illnesses. The Centres allow walk-in patients to be seen by a doctor after hours, or if you're unable to see your regular doctor.

Currently there are three Centres in the Perth Metropolitan area - Armadale, Cockburn and Joondalup. The pilot study will involve the investigation and building of four more Urgent Care Centres throughout Perth.

The pilot study team need your help to give the community member voice to inform the outcomes of the study and to give feedback on what works at the Cockburn Urgent Care Centre and what can be improved.

Experience required

Community members who have attended the Cockburn Urgent Care Centre. General Practitioners and other medical professionals who are interested in the Urgent Care Centres.
