ECU’s Neurological Conditions Research Priority Mapping Workshop

You are invited to participate in a research priority mapping workshop aimed at gaining an understanding of the issues which face individuals living with a neurological disorder and potential avenues for future research.

At the workshop, the research team will present an overview of the research program, followed by group discussions, sharing and brainstorming ideas about the main issues impacting on the quality of life of people and potential targets for future research to improve the quality of life of individuals living with neurological conditions.

Please note, this consumer consultation is the initial phase of a larger research program and as such the discussions and outcomes from the day may be used as research data.

Experience required

Individuals with a neurological condition, family members or carers of a person living with a neurological condition are invited to participate.

Researchers are specifically looking for people affected by:

  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Parkinson's disease
  • Stroke
  • Huntington's disease
  • Traumatic Brain Injury
  • Motor Neuron disease

Morning tea and lunch will be provided. Please advise us of any dietary requirements or special needs when you RSVP below. You will have an opportunity to enjoy the Perth Zoo during the morning tea and lunch breaks.
