CliniKids Consumer Advisory Group
Are you a parent or carer of a child under 12 years with autism? Would you like to have input into a new clinical service and research aimed at young children with autism? The team at CliniKids is looking for 6 people to join a new Consumer Advisory Group and your experience is needed!
About the project/vacancy
CliniKids is the new clinical service of the Telethon Kids Institute providing therapy and diagnostic services for young children with developmental delays and/or autism spectrum disorder, and their families.
The team at CliniKids works closely with the world-leading Autism Research Team at Telethon Kids Institute led by Professor Andrew Whitehouse. This unique collaboration creates an exciting opportunity to blend practice and research in a clinical setting enabling CliniKids to offer a range of evidence-based therapies.
CliniKids’ key focus is on translating new research findings into practise as soon as possible, as well as measuring outcomes for children receiving services. CliniKids would like to establish a Consumer Advisory Group to work with them to guide the direction, development and conduct of their research and clinical work. Working together it is hoped that this will lead to the development of a cutting edge clinical service that provides high quality services to families, integrating and adding to the latest research.
